Orchestra

We have weekly rehearsals and 1 – 2 additional weekend rehearsal retreats each semester. In order to guarantee good musical quality, it is necessary that you attend at least 70% of the rehearsals. The schedule is conveyed at the beginning of each semester.

We are looking for cello and double bass players. If you are interested, send an e-mail at
probespiel@philharmonie.wien

Auditions for new musicians are closed for this summer term and the next auditions will take place in the beginning of October 2018. You can register here and we will inform you about the exact dates in due course. For the coming season registrations for all instruments are possible. You do not have to be a student of the Vienna University to join the orchestra.
