Philharmonic Orchestra

We rehearse once a week. In addition there are one or two weekend retreats each semester. In order to ensure good musical quality, it is necessary that you attend at least 80% of the rehearsals. All appointments will be given at the beginning of the term.

Join the Philharmonic Orchestra

You do not have to study at the Vienna University to take part in the orchestra.

In March 2019 there will be auditions for all instruments. We are especially looking for Trombones, an oboe with English horn and double basses. Flutes and Clarinets can be accepted only in autumn 2019.
